Ik liep vandaag tegen een soortgelijk probleem als wat in deze blogpost besproken is. Echter leek het dit keer niet alleen te gaan om een zlob variant, maar ook blowfish (nee niet het encryptie formaat, maar het hardnekkige virus). Aangezien de PC in kwestie net opnieuw geinstalleerd was, voelde ik weinig voor weer een herinstallatie. Dus ben weer gaan speuren op het web.
Via een forum kom ik uit op deze tool van Malwarebytes.org genaamd “Anti-Malware” (of kortweg MBAM). Zowel de naamgeving als het programma zelf ogen zeer simplistisch, maar geeft verbluffende & verbazende resultaten!
Binnen een half uur de PC volledig opgeschoond! Waar diverse virusscanners (inclusief AVG Free) dus hopeloos falen, neemt het gratis MBAM het heft wel in handen!
