Living full-time … in a camper

I’ve traveled to a lot of places and I’ve lived in as many (across Netherlands, Denmark, UK). One of my goals is freedom, not just time and financial freedom, but also the freedom to move around where I want. Reading books like the 4-hour Work Week a year ago made me move to London to seek adventure there.

Just came back, living with my mum in the Netherlands at the moment (having my own bedroom, computer room, and office in the garage), and while I look forward to having my own apartment at the seaside in Cyprus later this year … I still cannot imagine what it would be like (again) to have my own apartment. Being ‘stuck’ at 1 place just isn’t my ‘thing’.

I’ve been playing with the idea for a while now, what it would be like to live in a camper (something that has been on ‘my bucket list’ for a while now). Traveling around Europe, exposing my business I come across. I don’t see myself in a camper, but what would be extremely COOL is to have a GMC Chevrolet campervan! You know what I mean right? Exactly … the A-Team van! Then again … I’m still in the research phase …

Hmz … vehicle empty load weight of > 3500kg, means getting a “C” drivers license in Holland. Instead of a campervan, a mini-bus might be nice as well. From the commercially available solutions I like the GMC Savana 1500 / Explorer the most. Followed by Karmann Davis. If money is no object then have a look at Volkner.
