In earlier version of WordPress it used to be possible to use this tag:
<!-- next-page -->
to create the illusion of an article spread out over multiple pages.
But … as with all good things in life *sarcasm* that tag has seized to exist, turning page articles into ‘toilet rolls’. Which is nice with the latest tablet / iPad devices I suppose; as it’s nicer to scroll then to press next. But with certain content I still find it useful to create multi-page content, without having to create a physical page structure in WordPress.
Thus it raises this question:
How To Create Multi-Paged Articles in WordPress 3.5 ?
Well … tricky tricky … as most plugins around this only work on WordPress 2.x
But I won’t keep you guys in suspense much longer, have other things to do then writing a long SEO-compatible blogpost about this hehe.
The answer is a FREE plugin called “SGR next page”.
Make order in your posts!
Forget about too long posts, infinite height pages, diffculty to found a post section. With SGR Nextpage Titles you can divide every post into different subpages, giving them a title and obtaining an index that will show the summary of the post and will redirect your visitors to the desidered section (subpage) of your post.
Have SEO friendly url for your subpages
Every subpage will have SEO friendly urls based on the given title, to make also happy Search Engines and spider bots that will navigate through your Blog pages. Awesome!
3 Simple Steps Installation Process
1) Upload the sgr-nextpage-titles folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
… or search for “SGR nextpage” from your WordPress “Add Plugin” environment
2) Activate the SGR Nextpage Titles Plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
3) Add few  codes to your posts
