The reason my Dutch mark at national exam is so low (atleast I think it is), cause I was suffering from ‘failure delusion’/nervousity/lot of pressure. I like to write essays and analyse texts in a nonstress environment … you don’t have such an environment of course when exams are obtained. 
 
My grade for the national exam Mathematics was a bit low. Explanation: it was very very difficult. 
 
Economics, unexpectly, received a high mark at national exam. My teacher for economics was a real ‘drillinstructor’, you know a typical army sergeant. He was a real *ssh*le during class, although his method of teaching did receive it’s awards and I’m thankful for that. 
 
And last but not least: Music … Music was my 7th subject (you only need 6 to pass Higher General Secondary Education). I liked the ability to relax 5 times a week playing instruments, singing, etc. What I didn’t like was all the musichistory. This is very tough! Music as a subject might sound like pleasure to you … well it isn’t! ‘Playing around’ only covers about 30% of the lessons. It’s a lot of theory, listening, history, etc. Anyway the reason for the low mark at music national exam is because I didn’t learn very well; uhm more like I didn’t learn at all …
