How to sync bookmarks between multiple browsers on multiple computers?

It seems everything this month points to the “My Mac Apps”-blogpost, but I’m constantly improving ‘the glue’ in between Apps and tools. As you might have read I’m using 4 internet browsers at the moment, and I’m looking for a way to sync them. Let’s what’s available to make that happen.

Well I didn’t have to search long! The market leader in this field is of course Xmarks. Xmarks is Operating System independable tool that syncs bookmarks through it’s own online (free) cloud in between Internet Explorer (Windows only), Apple Safari, Google Chrome and FireFox.

But … as always … I like to have ‘freedom of choice’. So I hopped over to alternativeto.net

Well well well … look what I found:

Google Bookmarks is a free online bookmark storage service, available to Google Account holders. It allows one to bookmark favorite websites and add labels or tags, and also notes. Users can access their bookmarks from any computer by signing in to their Gmail account. The bookmarks are searchable, and searches are performed on the full text of the bookmarked pages, not just the labels and notes.

Next to an Apple fanboy, I’m also a HUGE fan of Google’s Apps and platform.
