For a new project of a new client (who likes to remain anonymous) I have to perform some WordPress backend configuration options … however the password for the admin user ain’t working :-/, and I have no hosting control panels access; thus no phpMyAdmin. I do however have FTP login access. Let’s see …
Able to retrieve the database server, name and user from the wp-settings.php file. And thanks to the SiteGround.com Knowlegde base, been able to write a PHP script that resets the current password with a new MD5 hash password through MySQL. 5-minute fix and 0 panic. Ain’t it great being an ubernerd?
